Sounds like a fun idea. However, we do ask that you make sure you add 'unofficial' to the name and whenever it is shown/mentioned on screen, as it is not an officially sanctioned FXhome product.

Good luck with it - I look forward to seeing where it goes.

I think you would also have to ask the creator of each film whether you can display it first as well.

I like the idea. How exactly are you doing this though? I have heard of live streaming internet television channels but I have never really looked into how they work.

Also, if it gets larger do you think you may start doing it on more then just sundays?

Good luck. I should have some films for you to show soon.

Another thing, will you show trailers along with films? Or will this be strictly films only?

Use dynamic dns. That way the hostname always points to your machine even if your IP changes. Try going to http://www.dyndns.org/ They offer a decent free service thats pretty easy to setup

Well - it worked smile I believe it runs even now, but I'm kinda tired of it, because it was jumpy, if you now what I mean confused Some parts were, well - bearable, but sometimes there was sound and a still image confused Perhaps it is because I'm downloading 3 files now (but from 0.5 to 1.5 KB/s, so it shouldn't be a problem), so I'll wait until others will say how it went. Hope I can watch it properly someday (say... next week? biggrin razz wink ).
