geez man usualy i like something awful but this review of the game just sucks! I wonder if they even played it! I wrote an email to them saying that they should take it down or rewrite it. im pretty sure everyone else should to.

It looks to me like they just played the multiplayer and thats it. I doubt they even played the first game.

That's disgusting, and it makes them look more idiotic than ignorant. Pretty sure there are only 2 maps 'recycled' from the first one, and those were uber-popular maps and they have been spruced up a whole lot.

Agree... I too wasn't impressed by Halo 2.

PS2 isn't as powerful as the XBOX, but I still think it's a better console.

I disagree with alot of what he wrote, but he's right about the advanced textures, the XBox has a hard time displaying them and although they look great they can totally chug the system, the FPS are quite annoying too, though that's probably because I'm more used to above 30, GTA:SA suffers that same problem.

I don't see the guys problem with the story loopholes though, I found the one about the sarge re-appearing HIGHLY amusing considering the Origional Halo's Legendary Ending (LOL).
He's bang on about the flashlight, but the new additions such as vehicle mounting and dual wielding were pretty sweet imho, there wasn't a huge lot they could add anyway, it's a shame that the story is rather similiar to its predecessor just with another character thrown into the mix, you know? I kinda wanted something TOTALLY new on that frontier.

And that's about it, he obviously has a gripe with XBL which imho is the forefront of console multiplayer, I'd even put the Halo 2 MP up there with the likes of goldeneye, though I'm not sure it will become a true classic, I guess time will tell.

man you guys are gullible. look at the front page and you'll see this:
Since we published our review of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas we have recieved many complaints about the accuracy of our review. We apologize for these inaccuracies and hope to make ammends this week with a brand new review of Halo 2. I've played through this game twice and am ready to give you the lowdown on the most anticipated game of the year next to Candy Land.

If Halo was an elementary school version of a PC first person shooter than Halo 2 is pre-school. The first thing you notice is just how easy the game actually is. No matter what I did the aiming felt like I was on autopilot. Just point at an enemy and your targeting reticle will automatically track them. I felt like my hand was being held through the entire game.
It's the same deal as before. Circulate the link to the Truth Media article throughout the Halo community and see how many people you can trick into thinking it's a real, legitimate review. We'll know you've done your job correctly when we are pelted with retarded flame mail after flame mail. Just be sure NOT to harass or flood people with the link. The whole purpose of Truth Media is to showcase the stupidity of mindless idiots who base their entire life around a video game. Do it for America!

Good job everybody

What an odd review... While the PS2 does have a more powerful CPU if its programmed for by leet people (which it hardly ever is) the GPU (graphics card) on the Xbox is much better.

Bungie is doing it's best to work with what is basically a 500 MHZ GeForce 1 computer.
Quotes like that show the reviewer simply has no idea at all. Firstly the Xbox CPU is a Pentium III 733MHz type processor and the GPU is an Nvidia processor which it kinda between a GeForce 3 Ti500 and a GeForce 4 - like over 5 times faster than a GeForce 1.

Only thing I don't like, is that Bungi focused a lot on multiplayer, and it doesn't even have bots. It dissapointed me.

thats what any ai does to you except maybe hl2 but i havnt played it yet. Ive played lots of games that use bots like quake and unreal tournament and dark agent and timesplitters 1 and 2. dont think i just played these games for two seconds, because i have played them thouroghly and the truth is bots just arnt as fun as humans and in someways makes the game boring. And i dont care what game even half life 2 a.i. is not going to make you better at anyhting other then killing the a.i. You cant adapt your skills of killing the a.i. to killing humans because humans react differently everytime it too different things.

That's EXACTLY right.

It's the same reason that the British army has passed new legislation that will only allows for weapons training to be carried out against live, human, terrorist targets - top analyists have suggested that if the soldiers were only to shoot at little paper pictures, they'll never get better at anything other than shooting little paper pictures - and what use would THAT be! It's clearly not going to improve anyone's accuracy, their familiarisation with the conrol(s) of the weapon, or anything else that could be used in a different situation, for example when fighting a real human being...
