Doomsday is a movie I made with my kids. It was filmed entirely in front of a green screen. It's meant to be funny, so everything that you see, was on purpose smile

My server is a little slow, so it might be best to right-click and "Save As" and let it download before starting to watch... smile

The good:

I guess you had good quality time with the kids makin this.

I rate it a 4, not becaus its the best technical with best actors and best superwhatever, but becasue I think it is good effort and that deservers something. Some funny dialogues, even I suspect it is more fun for your family and friends than 'other people'. But overall, fun to watch

The bad:

The travel scenes should have been cut down in my oppinion. At one point I felt 'yes, I got it, move on'. The mtv cut was fun, somhow I got dejavu to 'hey solthar'. So remove a couple of the scenes, I would suggest the one with the amoeba (or whatever the english name is) and a few others.

the 'ohno, how did we mess that up' ugly:

In the final scene, the agent wears his orange skirt, when they arrest the badboy he has another one, and then, in the almost same angle he gets the orange back, + the box apears behind him. This is specialy noticble as there was nothing else to deverse the attention to. I could be wrong, and that it is intended to be a 'different' person, but if it was that I dont feel it worked anyhow.

Keep up the movie fun smile

Thanks guys... The blatent continuity things were on purpose, a "Lesson" in continuity, if you will smile and the lengthy back and forth scene was also on purpose, remember it was supposed to be "Just around the corner"... anyway, thatnks for the advise, I'll remember them next time smile

oh and I never saw "Hey Solthar" so I'll have to hunt that down smile Thanks!

This reminded me of an idea I had for a live action version of the children's animated series, 'Kids Next Door'.

I am certainly glad I watched this movie.
Why?
Well, in return for you watching American Idiots, I decided to watch your movie. And I must say that I have (pretty much) the same response you had to our (Evman and mine's) movie.

I found the editing to be great and the effects to be great, too. But the humor didn't get to me. I know it was supposed to be corny, but it was just too stereotypically corny.

Cute kids though.

I assure you that I only used stock footage that I had already (except for the scenes I "Stole" from Armaggedon smile )

and I've never been in the chat either, so??? What footage are you talking about anyway?
