I think Aculag was trying to quote the movie, *gosh*

I really liked this film. It was just so wierd that it worked. And as I saw in people's XMas lists, lots of people liked it judging on the fact that lots got it on DVD.

The stores around Temecula were totally sold out of this DVD in the run up to Christmas. I'll have to see it for myself soon....

No, I'm calling him an idiot because I know the only reason he made this thread was to be stupid. He knows there's already a thread about this from when it came out. So there.

I stand corrected. But you were also *sorta* quoting the movie.

I got this for Xmas, and it says that there is a making of featurette, where is that? I can't find it on the disk, i've looked in all the menus. Maybe I'm blind.

I really didn't like it that much either. The humor got old and was dragged on way too long. Also, character comedy usually isnt my bag.

I saw it along time ago in the theater and thought it was hilarious. It is one of those movies you kind of want to keep for yourself so just you and your friends know about it. After about a month the movie start getting dumb because you would see all these people walk around with VOTE FOR PEDRO shirts and it takes the humor out of it. Everyone starts quoting the movie and it just goes down hill from there. I still like the film but it is still not as funny as when is came out. I geuss I am just being dumb about it........

It's pretty much like the best movie of all time. Gosh! smile

For some, like myself, it'll take a second showing of it to truly appreciate it subtle humor and drawn out comical shots. I watched it yesterday and was like, "why didnt I like this? Its good, well-shot, unique, and funny?" And then today I watched it and was thinking: "Wha-? This movie sucks. Its wierd and has over-acted mild humor." It's really a toss-up movie, I think. Still, good.

I managed to catch up with this movie at last but wished I had'nt. As much as I actually like this type of humour this film did'nt do it for. I think I laughed once throughout the whole film. Shame really because I had high hopes for it.

I didn't like this movie very much.
Some bits made me laugh, but I think it's a cult thing.

I'd give it 3/5.

It's a marmite film.

Don: Hey, Napoleon. What did you do last summer again?
Napoleon Dynamite: I told you! I spent it with my uncle in Alaska hunting wolverines!
Don: Did you shoot any?
Napoleon Dynamite: Yes, like 50 of 'em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that?
Don: What kind of gun did you use?
Napoleon Dynamite: A freakin' 12-gauge, what do you think?

The best part of the movie.

I liked the opening titles and that was about it. The humor was almost funny but feel just short. I found the guy walking around with his eyes 3/4 shut really bothered me. The Rick San Do bit was funny but that was about all, IMHO.
