To my movie, I could need a different lightsword:

The same as all other svords, just that the glow is gold and body of sword if silver...

Hope you guys can make it available!biggrin

THANKS

You won't be able to use it unless you purchase the software first...

Edit: Also, according to mgw on another thread, they are no longer accepting plugins for AlamDV2 since DV3 is coming out so soon....

quite right.. there is no law against asking... but...

what happens if I spend an hour of my time making a plugin for you.. I then place it in the plug ins section.. no-one else uses it as there are plenty of other lightsabres to choose from.. and then you never buy the product ...

normally during the week, I can range from £100.00 to £250.00 per hour...
can I send the bill for my time to you ?

why not buy ALAM DV2.. and use the sabres that are there already as an "animatic" for your full movie... then... when you have be become proficient in the use of them.. (See your other post on plugins for beginners) you can maybe create a plugin of your own.. and thus put something back into this community..

You want a gold and silver lightsabre.. well, considering those are metallic colours and lightabres have a "glow" to them... would white and yellow suffice ??? I dont know how to make "glowing silver".. without being "glowing grey"...

Not to tell you how to make your movie but a gold and silver saber blade will look terrible. I think it's best to stick to colours in the spectrum and stay away from metalic ones. Seriously it will look like a tacky christmas decoration or something. And finally people are more likely to help you out if they feel there is some kind of urgency and that their work may actually be used so maybe see if you still need it after you've bought the program.

Hope so, but I guess you guys are right... I should stick to the orginal swords... But it would be nice if you can mix your own colors in alamDV 3

I don't think you should necessarily stick with red, green and blue (and purple). Just don't use metalic colours.

I think the orange color (the one at the bottom) looks like gold, and the left to it looks like silver.

Yes, with alamDV3 you will have complete control over the color of the lightswords you create. Not just of the core and the glow, but multiple glows, each of which can have its own color and size controls and whatnot.
