No you'll need to use your editing program to do the sounds. AlamDV is purely for doing the visual effects on your footage, it is not an editor and it can't do the sound, in fact footage exported from AlamDV (once you've put your effects on) will be without sound. It is expected that you recombine your footage, with the sound-track, in your editor program.

In alam DV 3 you will be able to have clips with the original soundtracks, but im not sure you will be able to modify them.

Cool, timmy! Does that mean that I film a movie, and animate it, and when I put it in studio 8 or something, the voices will allready be there???

Yes, it will. If you want to change the audio tracks, you should be able to do that in studio 9. If you dont want to export the audio from alam DV 3, im sure you will be able to do that too, somewhere in the compression options. Sorry if im confusing you... redface

You're going to want to go to Pinnacle's Forum... there's probably a work-around for your problem, but it will be difficult for people on here to help with that part, as it seems most people on this site don't use Studio 9 as their NLE. I use it, but have never had the problem you're describing. Try this.

Try this if you can't get WMM to work for you.

Thanks everyone for all of your support. I can tell I'm going to like using AlamDV2 and DV3 once it is released. This forum has always been a help. So, Thanks.
