I thought that the choreography was worked on with this, & the guy playing Neo & his attackers did a good job without making it look too much as if it was a load of kids playing about. Good effects at the beginning, with the falling bullets.

I thought you could improve camerawork & editing a bit though. The camera was shakey a lot & you could have filmed a bit closer to the actors in many points. With the editing, you didn't do a good job of making each fighting segment flow into the next, & it didn't conjure up the sort of pace that the action & music was dictating. Random closeups contributed to it being a bit plodding.

It was the first time we did mass choreography, so felt it went well. We also tried to match up shot to shot with the orginal as much as we can, so thats why it was kind jumping from there to here.

That was damn funny. I hate to be a negative reviewer, but almost nothing in this video was good, or even close to it. If i was you, i would pretend it was a joke.

That being said, the costume was at least good. as was some of the knife play.

The acting was quite funny, which made this all the more entertaining.

well...well done u acheived to create something even worse than the "piece of cake film" LOL. i make short martial arts action films, have done for years, and to see this just hurts me lol. everything was eveywhere, one minute your one place, next minute your somewhere else. editing was awful, one thing youve gotta watch out for with mass chreography is that if your going to take on one at a time, the other bad guys arnt just standing round watin for there turn to run in at get layed out, they gotta b doin something (acting mayb). camera outta focus towards end, ahh dear never mind LOL

wot was that about when the guys start floating across the sreen, HAHAHA wet me self watching that lol

That was pretty decent.... it was fine for what it was - a few guys messing around trying to recreate a scene from a movie. I watched it assuming it would have a certain amount of unintentional camp and was not disappointed. I liked how it was shot in an evening and it slowly darkens to nearly pitch-black by the end... hugegrin

It might not hurt to try to redo it, taking into account some of the advice from others on the thread, if you want to seriously try to shoot that scene. Keep in mind that the people behind the real scene had a large budget, a massive crew and infintely more powerful tools at their disposal... I agree with a lot of what others have said on here - work on the choreography a little more to make it look like the guys in the background are doing things, not just waiting for their turn to be pummeled by Neo. Also, try shooting earlier in the day, preferably when the sun won't be directly behind you and/or you won't be running out of daylight.

I am sorry but this was really really bad. The angles setup in an hour my butt. If I gave my buddy Bobby and Suzy cameras, and I said set up some angles, I really think both of theirs would replicate yours and be set up in 5 minutes. On top of the corny acting, bad effects, quality, audio, and editing, it was worthy of a 1/5 for the erm, effort. though I know you can do better I HOPE. But just fix a lo tof things. it really had no point or story at all. Bettter luck next time, sorry I didn't like it, hopefully once you fix up Halo I'll like that.

I can only say, it was really funny. I liked how you managed to mimic a lot of the actual shots from the film.

Good job.

Holy crap, now that was some funny stuff! That must rank as one of the least impressive films on AlamDV, ever! Great acting, sfx and camerawork! OMFG!!!!

You did make me laugh my ass off, if that was your intention then I salute you, if not, god save you all!

The guy who played Neo actually did an O.K. job. A little attention should have been paid to the attackers "costumes", and play a bit more attention to the backgrounds (parent's houses have a nasty habit of showing up). All and all not too bad. I've seen WAY worse ones one here, that's for darn sure! Nice effort. It clearly took some planing.

This show is pretty neat. Neo was good, but the others were corny... I also noticed that the weapons were sticks rapped up in aluminum foil. All in all it's a good show I guess...
