Here's the deal. I haven't made any official announcements or anything, but would like to put it out.

I'm planning on creating a series of short films that revolve around battles between the most widely known heroes of our time. Yea, kind of like a Mortal Kombat, but live-action. Fighters will include anyone from a Marvel character to an action movie hero. Now before I start planning out any choreography and sorting out props/costumes, etc... I need to know something.

The way the episodes will work will be the FXHOME community will decide via polls who the winner of the upcoming match will be before it goes into production. So without further a-dou, decide the winner of the first match, and I will see how this project turns out. It might bomb, and it might work out well.

Hey, that is an awsome idea. Now do the characters have toi be from the same universe? As in Batman cannot fight Leonardo? Or can they be mixed?

EDIT : Nevermind, guess I didn't understand the polls the first time around.

It can be anyone vs. anyone, no universe lock. I plan on making this a tournament type deal. I'm planning to have a Batman vs. Blade somewhere down the line.

Haha. It is a rather close match. I hope to keep this active as much as possible and get as many votes as possible.

Here's a bit of an update that we have come up with:

The way we plan to create these battles is to utilize AlamDV3 for the entire fight. If anybody has ever played Marvel vs. Capcom 2, keep that in mind. Now, because we have a 2 dimensional we will try to keep true and have these battles appear visually as if you were actually playing a game.

Check out this video clip from the game to get an idea:
http://ps2movies.ign.com/ps2/video/mvc_0730_1.mpeg

The action won't be as fast, but you can get an understanding at how the movement of the characters will be. Now mind you, there will be real-life actors playing the characters instead of CG or cartoon.

And it's gotta be them NOW. You know - Fat Seagal with his gut hanging over his belt VS a weathered Chuck who now resembles Jack Lalanne. Action-packed and funny!
