Broken Film Links

Every one of my movie submissions has the message:
"We are currently updating the links for this movie. Please check again later"
Under "Movie Management" it reads "broken url" but none of the links are broken, they all work fine ... Do I have to re-submit each movie or is there another way to "fix" the links?

Are you hosting on homepage.mac.com? Their server is currently misconfigured so that it returns incorrect info about the movie file. Unfortunatly this tells our link checker that the link is broken. I've emailed them to see if they are going to correct the fault, but havent heard back yet.

I'm hosting it under my own domain and hosting service that I've been using for a few years now and all the links are working ...

It seems your web server is returning an error when our link checker contacts it;
HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
This is why the urls have been marked as broken. You should check your error log for the exact cause.
As far as I can tell your server produces the error when the client doesnt send a 'User-agent' header. Most browsers send this header which says what browser version it is, which is why the link seems to work from your browser. But our link checker doesnt send this header. Some browsers don't send the header, and some people remove it to protect their privacy, these people won't be able to access your movie either.
Check your web server configuration and see if it trying to do something based on the user-agent header, this is probably where the problem is occurring. Our link checker will automatically re-enable all your links as soon as it spots the problem is fixed.

Might also be your hosts blocking Fxhome.
When my movie was first submitted, my hosts shut my site down temporarily because they interpreted the multiple downloads of the movie referred by Fxhome as hackers. You recently submitted that Lego movie so it may have been triggered by that.
Another possible cause if Malone's help doesn't work (though I am relatively unexperienced about this stuff)

That's been offline for ages. Nothing to do with Fxhome, the movie is probably not on the web anymore.

Adrenaline is hosted on the mac.com site which isn't working at the moment. Unfortunatly I'm not getting any response from their web techs so I don't know when/if they will fix the problem.

I have 5 films on your site and have 4 more waiting to go up. I had an e-mail saying the links were down, I have checked all of them and they are 100% working. In any case, I replaced all the links and am now waiting for them to be checked/updated. How long will this take??

Tarn approves all the cinema submissions, but he is currently taking a well deserved easter holiday. He should be back soon and I imagine he will try and clear the backlog within a week.
