I am just about to invest a large sum of money to switch to an Alienware Windows system. The question is, is it possible for my license to be terminated, so i can't ever use it on Mac again, and a Windows one be activated? I only need it for Chromanator, since Alam I can just get a Windows license fro the get go, and DigiGrade, well, it isn't out yet. smile I would rather this be answered by a CSB staff or someone of "authority" and who knows 100%.

Shows how much you know. I am customizing it in fact, and it is a laptop, top of the line. It is running at 3.0 GHZ, 1 GB of RAM, an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card, 8x Combo drive, 100 GB HD, , portable, sleek, and very light light.

Here's the extensie processor info. Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor w/ HT Technology 3.0GHz 800MHz FSB w/ 512KB Cache

BTW, way to read the last sentence.

Woah, cool. Thanks Mel, I did not know that. And I assure you CSB, it will only be on one platform.

Actually this is incorrect. A mac key will not work on the windows version and visa versa. There is no way to transfer the key so if you want a windows key you will have to buy one.

Does the combo drive write DVDs as well (as opposed to a combo drive with only cd burning functions)? If so (and I'm assuming it does), that should be a nice system. You may run a little low on HD space, but that can always be upgraded later if needed. Hope it works out!

Heh, actually, it does write DVD's, I have a 160 GB Ext. HD on me now, and it will cost $2,700. As for the license, I am really sorry to hear that. I will not be buying a 2nd copy of Chromy, but maybe a Mac emulator if that will run it, because that will allow me to run a couple of other programs too.

Anyways, here it be:

Isn't it pretty? smile
