White box around effects

When I trie to use the lambada class shuuttle and a lot of other plugins they appear in a white box.

how do I fix this?

I think you're talking about the quad. This is there for you to see the outline of the effect, and so that you can change the effect's size and position.

If it is the quad it should not be rendered. If there is infact a problem, then I'm not sure.

Does it render the white box?

the quad is filled with white that is surounding the effect. when I render it, it lha s the same problem. wall

Oh - well that's not the quad.

I guess it must be something to do with the transparency options set for it.

I can't find the plugin you metioned in the plugin section to look at, but what other plugins does it happen with?

It happens with: Machine Gun Hit R2L, Bullseye, mussle casings, and teleportbamph2, to name a few

Well, they are all made from .tif files, and so I think it may be to do with that.

I don't know why it would be that, but I guess I'll suggest the usual...

Have you got the following:
800x600 resolution, 32Bit Colour and the latest version of Quicktime?

Other than that, I'm afraid I can't help.
