Im only tryin this software out and if ti can do what My son needs then Ill buy it for him .

What he is trying to achieve is to have a puppett appear that its driving the car .
So is it possible to background road (filmed out the back of the car )
And then greenscreen the stationary car with the puppet moving the steering wheel .

Hope that all makes sense for now ,

I have to say you all seem fantatstic for what your actually producing and this software looks really good too so may end up buying it for him anyway . (hes only 12 so trying to help out all I can for now )

Just a thought , Can it also blur out registartion numbers and faces like on crime TV programmes etc ?

Yes, it can do all of that. You'd have to make the puppet move on set, however.

Nat will be well chuffed even more so as Itsme paying for the software.

I think what he wants to do is have someone in the car footwell moving the wheel whilst the puppet hands are taped to the wheel ,
I suppose its a lot safer than the driver on the open road ducking down below the dashboard !!!!!

So im sure he will want the AlamDV package next , amazing what 12 year olds want to do now !!

Many thanks Timmyd

Great to see a father supporting his son's hobbies like this. And I promise I'm not saying that just because I work here!

As Timmy has said, Chromanator can indeed greenscreen that with ease. Simply put the car and puppet in front of a greenscreen, then replace the green with the background using Chromanator. The only important thing is to light the greenscreen well, so that it is easy to 'key'.

Most movies greenscreen car interiors these days too - it's basically the modern version of those dodgy back projection shots you'd get in older films. Check out Dr No for some particularly amusing examples. smile

Thanks to both of you ,
Nathan decided he wanted AlamDV2 first , so bought that for now .

Ive ordered some greenscreen material for him so just waiting for that to arrive before we buy Chromanator.
