A lightsaber clash effect from ROTS. It looks like a regular light bulb plugin, yes i know, but they're not. From the clashes there's a nice decant effect unlike a plain light bulb. If you don't know what I'm talking about download the exclusive revenge of the sith fan trailer on http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/story/Episode_III_Breathing_Trailer_89922.asp
and go to the very end where there's a close up and find a clash and pause it to see what i'm talking about. Thanx!surprised!

No more plugins are going up, wait for AlamDv3's advanced clashing system, that way it will be your own effect and completely customizable.

As Deepcoiler said, in AlamDV3 you will be able to customize your own flashes.

A one that looks very Star Wars-ish is Ryan W's version which you can find by looking around on the internet (since it seems his website is shut down or something) and searching for "Ryan W Lightsaber Clash" or something like it.

Enjoy

Yeah, it was cool considering one guy made all the work (almost). But the real trailer is way cooler (done by about 300 people at ILM).

Yeah you're right the real trailers were better but the mostly the theatrical trailer (to bad it didn't show grievous that much in the theatrical one though).
wink

Oh, and no more plugins for ALAMDV2! Well, i heard something about ALAMDV3 you have to make your plugins or something (i do a liitle already) but does that mean i can make a plugin like a flying, fighting, Yoda? I'm mean i could in alamdv2 but can you do stuff like that in dv3? frown

The Phazer Muzzle Fhash plugin works very well as a lightsaber clash. Just set the duration for 1 frame and rotate it to whatever looks best.

Errrr..... your own flying fighting yoda...... ahem...... that's..... incredibly unrealistic. If you want a fighting flying yoda you're gonna have to take courses in 3D and become very very good at it to get results anywhere near as good as the movie.

AlamDV3 will support stock footage, which is basically the same thing as plugins but easier to handle.

Not really a flying, detailed yoda. I could never do that! redface I'm mean like not lasers, explosions, clashes, blades, thing like that; more like an animation like some of thhe plugins that we can make now that doesn't have light effects. tard twisted

P.S. did anybody see those new, awsome, Tv Spots at

http://theforce.net/topstory/story/New_Revenge_of_the_Sith_TV_Spots_90940.asp?

Anyone know what music they used in 'Tragedy' or was that just music from episode iii? crazy
