Thought this might be of interest to people.

Whether you produce hundreds of titles a year or just a few, you can give your videos the recognition and visibility they deserve by promoting them on Google - for free. Signing up for the Google Video Upload Program will connect your work with users who are most likely to want to view them.

Not really, considering that probably 100% of the people looking for hosting want to get their movies in the FX Home cinema and uploading to google isn’t going to help you much in that regard. If you want to make some cashola that might be a different story.

Although Google is accepting videos, it is not making them searchable yet. The plan is to eventually let users search, play back, and purchase videos stored in Google Video. Owners will have the option of giving their videos away for free or charging for them.

Taste of your own medicine.

Get a PC. wink

But seriously, find a PC laying around at a friends house or something, and upload there. Just burn the file to a disk.

Be sure to carefully read the terms of service. It's possible that you're turning over all rights to your films to Google, if you use their upload service. This is a little unclear, though.

I uploaded two movies with no trouble at all, 8 days ago. But I am trying to find my movies and track their attributes so as to send them on FXhome but I am still waiting for their confirmation of approval. Does this verification process take this long time. And apart from this I sent these two movies to Yousendit.com and from there each and every link I sent worked well. I do'nt know but I also sent my movies on HERE and I have'nt received anything yet. Did I do something wrong? Please guide me.

u should seriously read the faq, thats why its there
it says that this video uploading service is in progress and you probably won't see ure videos up for a while

on another note, this service may be either good or bad depending on how strict google is on copyright laws

Googles privacy policy is VERY questionable. I'd sooner use www.ourmedia.org : its free, no file limit and its fast too.
