Apparently i have to register Alam dv2 to download plugins
(i reistered years ago but it seems you have changed the system since)

i can't register the product because i don't have a magic code
just a serial number which is in a different format
and i can't use the key resender as the email address i used at that time is now defunct and has been for years

so what do i do?
it does seem silly that u could not have implemented a way for non magic code members to be able to enter old serial numbers

Doesn't strike me as silly at all. The serial information needs to be sent somewhere so email is the only logical way of doing it. Most people actually *keep* their email addresses, you see. They aren't usually thought of as disposable.

If you need your information resending to a new address, PM Malone with some information that can prove you are the real owner (not that i doubt you, simply that its standard practice) and he'll send you the info.

i've altered my message above

What if it is a work email and you change jobs you can't take your email with you can you
if you still kept an old email active what is the point of changing in the first place, i don't know anyone that keeps old email addresses active what would be the point? how many mobile phone numbers do you have do you keep all of those?

oh and thanks

But i have a new user account or web account as its now called.
i've never been on the forums before
i used to just log in with a email address and password which i have now forgotten/lost, but its all changed anyway, you don't seem to login with this anymore as you need this magic code and the only way to get that is to have it delivered to the email address used at purchase hence my problem so i have no way of getting anything back

Email team@fxhome.com with your original email address and post/zip code, as well as the address you need it changed to.
