Video-vanish in AlamDV :(

Well, I've made a movie. I've converted it to .avi and imported it in AlamDV2...

Well, I've put the effects on the right place, and on a moment of the video the motion turns into a picture, well. There is no more motion, and that ''time-bar'', just goes further (srry 4 ma bad english).
And now I cant put effects in the movie of that moment...

Can somebody help me.

How long is the clip that you are bringing into AlamDV? It sounds like you are putting an entire movie in, which you should not be doing. Only bring in the parts of your movie that require effects. The clips brought into AlamDV should be 1 min long at the most, and even that would be pushing it. Keep the clips down to short amounts of time.

Yes, tell us the length of the video. Also, what codec are you using in your avi?

Yup, the length must be it.
But that goof of a friend of me said: Yeah ! Let's do all the effects at once and then we let the computer render the rest of the night...
