we need a plug-in of the day light sky, in case we have to film in night and want to make it look like its day.

Right, because it's so hard to go outside and film the sky...

You could always film during the day... there's an idea.

Yeah. What exactly is stopping you from shooting during the day? Or at least shooting a daytime sky to later put on your footage? That's not hard...

What? Ok, wait... If you're shooting a movie with legos, why didn't you say that in your first post? You make it sound like you want a daytime sky because you're going to be shooting your movie when it's dark and you want it to look like it's daytime.

If you're just putting a sky over the footage in your lego movie, I still don't understand why you need a plugin, rather than just going outside and filming the sky....

They aren't fighting, they are just amused at your odd request... Why not go outside with your camera and take a pic of the sky and greenscreen it in, I actually have no idea what you want...

Why don't you just tell us exactly what you're doing instead of getting upset?

*Chuckles a little*

AlamDV by it's very name defines it as a program for use in creating visual effects, I don't think it's the ideal job for compositing footage onto a sky background, surely that'd be a job for Chromanator...

Whilst being maybe a tad mocking, what everyone has directed you to do is the action that makes the most sense. Take a photo of, or film the sky. Failing this there is a multitude of photographs of the sky waiting to be used online.

http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&q=sky+image&btnG=Search

All it takes is a bit of intuition/common sense smile

However, I don't think you can use this technique to create anything convincingly realistic, night to day or vice versa is something that you'd need Digigrade to pull off.

Hey, I managed to fit all three programs into one post smile
