I was reading this tutorial http://fxhome.com/support/tutorials/view.php?i=25
and was going to use it for an effect I did in Alam. I'm confused though because in that tute it says to use the "super contrast" tool to enhance the ligthing, which I did. but, then after I render it, the super contrast effects go away, because super contrast is a key grading tool. so i dont know if i'm missing something here or what.
Any help would be great.

Because of the keyframed nature of Chromanator it's possible that the super contrast/other added effects values are animated or at the wrong point, scrub along your timeline and check first
If not, then I suspect only Tarn will have the answer.

hmm, that's not it. Even when I click "Frame Preview" or whatever, it's not there.

Tarn said to use the Super Contrast in the grading toolset. Its because the super contrast in the key grading toolset only effects your keying, not the look of the rendered image. The problem with the grading toolset is...there isnt as Super Contrast, as far as I can see; it only has regular contrast.

If you go into key grade, these tools only help with keys and are not shown in final footage. What you want to do is go to the plain tab that says Grade, and scroll down to the bottom. This is the tool you want to effect your footage with.
