Need a little help. I export uncompressed avi from Premiere Pro 1.5.1 and do the ADV2 magic and export again as uncompressed avi. I import back in Premiere and it will not play on the timeline only in the preview monitor. All I see is black video. SO I import this same file into AE 6 and it tells me that there is an undefined alpha channel in the video. I can ignore it in AE but not PPro. Even tried exporting from AE and no luck. I can find no setting in ADV2 about alpha channels. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks for taking a peep at this.

In Premiere Pro, click on the clip and go to Video Effects, go to Keying, and choose "Alpha Adjust", then expand that and click "Ignore Alpha", that should work.

Hope it helps

You can also try exporting as a .mov fie. This will usually work better.
