GREAT NEWS! Hey guys I just got back from a the Utahhighschoolfilmfestival and was entered in the category "Music Video" and so I thought "I probably wont place (as in 1st, 2nd, 3rd) because all the kids their where talk and said they where really good, and filmed their all on their xl1s and other cameras, when I just did mine on a canon Elura 2.But anyway so the screening and awards came and my friends won 3rd place and then some other kids won 2nd, but then they showed mine for 1ST! SO YA WE WON 1ST PLACE IN OUR FIRST FILM FESITVAL! We won a trophy and a plack, and an "A" for the rest of the year. And this film festival was like 30 high schools everywhere in Utah and like 500 or 600 kids. Well that’s pretty cool, and all but then I forgot to mention that my dad and me bought a Canon XL1! So check out these pictures of the film festival and our new XL1.

well it will be nice to see what the futare brings for me and my crew
oh and if you want to see the music video that won, lol, which is not even our best and we did this before "the last offense" check it ou
Way Away-Remix
enjoy! biggrin

Congrats man.

How did you do that "rumble" effect about 1 minute into the video, when the camera shakes alot?

Congradulations on the winnings and the camera!

What's up with the sound in the video? It cuts out and comes back muffled and subdued.. is that part of the song?
Nice video though. I especially liked the bridge shots, under the legs slightly zooming... very nice!

Earthquake correct? I beleive Tony Hawk once said he liked it for making his skate movies more "intense". But I bet apple paid him to just read some lines.

I remember when Crawling Space won an award in Surrey and I had to give an acceptance speech... didn't have anything planned. I said thank you to myself and walked off - crazy Was a bit nervous all those years back!

Anyways man! Well done and keep up the filming work smile

I am sorry, I have an off topic question. Newsithorder, you always use the "..." after nearly everything you say. But on my computer at least it appears as a comma. Is your keyboard broken or did you forget how to type? smile

Ok, you finally update your profile Aaron. That is the first thing I do when I get new equipment, edit my FXHome profile. I don't know why, but it is fun. smile
