LIVE WEBCHAT
EffectsLab Debriefing

Thursdsay, 19th May
12:00 PST / 20:00 GMT / 15:00 EST

This Thursday will play host to the second FXhome live webchat! At 3pm EST (8pm UK time and 12 midday PST) the EffectsLab creative team will be charged up and ready to answer all your questions.

The session will be split into two specific sections. The first hour will focus entirely on the future plans for EffectsLab DV and FXhome.com, so you can get all the insider gossip on where we're taking things next. After that will be a 30-minute discussion where we can talk about any problems people are having with EffectsLab and help fix them.

Live webchats are the place to get all your questions answered quickly and directly, while also being able to discuss everything with fellow FXhomers. The last one we did was great fun and had a huge turnout, so we hope to see even more of you there this time!

We'll post up a reminder on Thursday along with further instructions on how to join and ask your questions. The discussion will only last for 1hr30mins, so make sure you get there on time!

We look forward to talking to you all on the 19th! In the meantime, don't forget the FXhome chatrooms are always open for idle banter, support questions and general discussion. Click here for more information.

EffectsLab latest updates

We have been updating the EffectsLab installers over the weekend as reports have come in, with several issues already resolved. If you're experiencing any problems, be sure to download the latest installer as your problem may already have been fixed. We are currently working on a new build that will be released in the next couple of days.

If you have any questions, ideas or problems then the EffectsLab forum is the place to check for advice and update news. We're always keeping a close eye on it and helping people out as fast as possible.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us out over the weekend, and thanks to everyone for their patience. We are nearly through the massive email build-up, so if you haven't heard back from us yet you should do soon. We hope that you are all enjoying using EffectsLab!

Great! It will probably be a lot of fun just like last time. Too bad the time is a bit late. Anyway, I'll do what I can to join you.

Those of you that can't attend due to Star Wars (we won't accept any other excuses) will still be able to leave a single question in advance, and can then check out the transcript.

CSB-Digital Staff:

I think this is a great idea. I'm going to try to take some time off, but I may be stuck at work - Most of you are aware how difficult my supervisor can be.

In case I cannot make the web-chat, would it be possible for you to post the minutes of the chat and/or some summary of the FAQ or concerns brought up?

Your quickstart manuals and documentation are great. In addition, I'm sure I'll have some additional questions and would rather read through the minutes of this chat before I start asking questions. Comparatively, I try to use some of the FAQs/stickies currently on the other forums before I post a question; so a posting of the minutes would be a welcome addition.

I'm still having lots of fun with EffectsLab guys, so my thanks again for this great program. I had to..um..call in sick on Saturday because I stayed up extremely late rotoscoping. (And if that doesn't indicate how much of a dork Rudy is, I'm not really sure what is! ) crazy.

Our system is IRC-based, so you should be able to join. The javascript system is for people that don't have a proper IRC client.
