Alam dv 2 sounds

Hey guys , i got a question:
Is alam dv able to add sound to my movies?!
Everytime i open a new project with a movie'n'sound
the sound is gone while i adaptate the movie and later when i export it
and i wanna watchit ....no sound!

Is there any other program i can add sounds?!

But what programm is able to add sound to my movie
..i have a PC.

Due to the nature of AlamDV being a film post production program, it assumes you already have editing software from which you are exporting and re-importing clips to. Take a quick look at the workflow linked to above to get an idea of how it works.

There is free editing software out there such as iMovie for Mac and Windows Movie Maker for PC. If you're really new to video editing then they're a good place to start.

this sounds complicated but what i did was put my original footage on windows movie maker 2. after i rendered it in alamdv2, i went to my original scene and copied the sound and pasted it over to my alamdv2 scene. biggrin

how long ago did you buy AlamDv2? Effectslab DV is far better, can retain your sound, and if you bought alamdv2 after january 2003, you get a free upgrade... wink

Apparently he hasn't. Alam DV2 is no longer supported and is not up to the companies standards.
