invisible output

Once I bring the footage I output from ADV2 into premiere it's like the whole thing is alpha'd. It plays normally in WMP but premiere doesn't seem to understand it even after rendering. Anyone have clues as to what's going on?

You have to ignore the alpha channels in premiere. You can do it by going to the keying option, then going to alpha adjust and then click ignore alpha. It should appear then.

weird stuff - I import it just like any other working video - it plays in the preview window over the assets, but doesn't play in the timeline... I'm not sure it is an alpha issue. Guess I'll try EL.

Exporting .mov does work, but I'm pretty sure it is in an alpha issue because I had the same problem, so try doing what I said.

thanks hatsoff2halford! worked like a charm - right clicked on the file in the assets list - properties - ignore alpha

don't understand it fully - but it worked!!
