I want to purchase EffectsLab, but I want to put it on a computer without internet access. Can I download it on one computer, burn it to a CD, then install it on the computer I want?

Yes you can, provided that you only have it installed on one computer it should be fine.
Though keep in mind you will lose out on all the downloadable presets and stock media by not having it on a computer with internet access.

Hum, I was reading some topics, and I have seen this one.
My firewall says that EL wants to go to the internet. If I block it, I'll have less stuffs ?

Nobody knows ? I just want to know why EL tries to go through my firewall (and access the internet).

It connects to the net to check the date. If you block it, or dont have a net connection it will still run normally. If you want to use presets or footage then you can just copy them in the same way you did with the installer.

Where can I find presets and footage ? I think footage will appear with fxvault.com, but I don't know about presets.

The current version of EffectsLab (build 870 at time of writing) doesn't support presets yet, but they've announced that preset support is coming.http://fxhome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18836http://fxhome.com/effectslab/development.html
