What happened to my topic? (exporting problem)

I've gone through the help topics here and somewhere I saw something saying that if my question is answered, my topic will be deleted. I did a search and read every topic with "export" in it, and I couldn't find an answer to my question. Was it because it's answered somewhere and I'm missing it, or no one knows the answer so it was just deleted? If it has been answered, if someone could kindly message me with a link to the remedy before deleting this, that'd be awesome.

Back to the original question in case it was deleted by mistake.. when I export images, it seems to just take a screenshot or something, and it has poor quality.. ex: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/iceflame12p/2904b9ce.jpg
Using version 2.1.5, I'm on 32bit, tried reinstalling.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say it was deleted because you are using AlamDV2 which is outdated. Effectslab is the new guy in town. biggrin

Well the board's called AlamDV2 Help.. but all right, I'll download that. Thanks.

(edit).. does that only edit movies? Or is it because I'm using the demo version?

No, it can't edit movies. It has 3 generators at the moment and can import stock footage such as explosives, kind of like what DV2 could do except you don't have to deal with the weird plugin system. The generators are amazing btw.

And to be perfectly honest, it's a waste of time learning to use AlamDV2, as it is no longer sold. The best you could hope for is to get the software down pat and then have to export with a giant watermark all over the footage.

If I were you, I'd head over here and download the demo to EffectsLab. Read the quickstart guide and you should be able to figure it out pretty quickly. It's much more powerful and it'll be on sale until June 30th.

If your question was about if EffectsLab does FX to movies, then yes it does.

If your questoin was about if EffectsLab EDITS movies, no. it doesnt. It's not made for EDITING, but rather Special Effects.

I should've rephrased it. My bad.
I just want pictures, does it add effects to pictures or only movies?

Only movies at the moment. But you can always export a one single frame to a video file...
