Is there anyway (In EL) to make the video sizes smaller. When I exported the 2 second light sword tutorial, it was 30 megs. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

You can (in the render settings) choose what size of the video you want (full, half, third) or you can choose to have worse quality on the effect, but you don't want to do any of this, trust me. If it takes up too much space you'll probably have to get a new harddrive (or delete old files).

What codec are you using to render this 30MB file?

Well, it should be a big file. This means that it has preserved the quality. Making it less MB would decrease the quality, and that would not be good for the clips going into a project.

Exactly, I suggest you get a larger harddisk to maintain full quality in your projects! Remember, when your completely done with a project, you can put it on DVD and then delete the files on your harddisk, so you can begin on a new project, that's what I would do.
