I encountered strange problem with Chromy just yesterday. When my brother tried to run it, it said that there is a problem with our current version of Chromanator and that we should download an updated one from fxhome.com . The problem is that we have an actual version, the one currently available for download here (we installed it again, just to be sure). But when I log in as myself (XP), everything works fine!

We never had such problems, and have no idea what coused it. Perhaps you have any ideas, what is going on?

Thanks for any help.

So your brother has a different XP login account than you? If so, get him to logon and check his Date & Time settings. Make sure that it is correctly set to today's date and time.

Also when you installed chromy did you install it so everyone could see it or did you install it twice, one for you and once for your brother. If you did the latter it's likely that one installation has been updated and the other hasn't

Yeah, cheking the date/time was about the first thing I done, but everything seems fine. Also - Chromy is installed once in our system, for everybody and it never had any problems. When my brother starts the program it shows the current version number, and then tells us to update.

hmmm not sure then, perhaps you should try unintalling and reinstalling it. Failing that contact the FXhome guys direct
