The fighting-wolves movies are the most popular movies on tm-stuntmovies: Til now we've made and published 4 movies, and in the newest, Fighting Wolves 4: Lightning Wolves, we've used Alam DV2 (alam dv3 is much more difficult to use) to make some cool special effects.

This is a short-film, and it all starts with Tor in Fighting Wolves 1, who slams a door in Julians face! In both Fighting Wolves 2 and 3, Julian gets his revange on Tor. In Fighting Wolves 4, maybe Julian gets his final revange (?)...

You're welcome to see Fighting Wolves 1, 2 and 3 at our homesite=)

Regards,
The TM Stuntmovies

its cool how you have low bandwith and a large file. I like waiting over an hour to watch a 3 minute movie.

Hi! Just added a new version of the movie (will take a while before it's availible on the site...)
The added file is for 56K modem users=)

Hope this fixed the problem!

What NLE do you use? i really don't want to download any video which is 60 megs unless it is around about 20-60 minutes long.

Better compression required me thinks hmmm?!?!

I will however perservere and watch... it better be good...

OK firstly before i get to the movie, your using pinnacle studio so render to avi in future, with no compression, then follow this guide http://fxhome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15838 .

Now for the movie... it was pretty... um shocking, it wasn't exactly enjoyable to watch, firstly nothing happened or there was basically no story to it, secondly you ran through some woods for 2 minutes without anykind of steadycam, thirdly the use of alamdv was incredibly rushed and not nice to watch, and finally it's called a "stuntmovie" am i not correct, or you atleast call yourself stunt people kinda, right? Yet i saw not even an incling of a backflip, not a single double-leg, not even a sausage of a b-twist to gainer.

The music however was very good, a good beat in fight movies/ duels is nearly always necessary, (except art of the saber of course) which is good
I have tried to be helpful but this was just not exciting.

Hi guys! Just watched your fx demo and thought I'd drop a line (it always bugs me when people watch, but don't leave feedback). I'm going to take a stab and assume that you're just starting out as many on this site are (including myself). You're choreography was ok. The beginning part with running through the forest was a bit much and almost confusing due to unstable camera movement (which is understandable without the aid of a steadycam). A cheap way to get around this, although it takes longer, is to walk to the destination and speed up the film in post. That way it will seem more stable. Your effects were good, but over time you will learn nifty tricks with masking and opacity adjustment that will improve the look. Sound was good as well as music choice. You guys keep at it and you'll definately have some cool work to show for it. Thanks. As for the file size and download times....hey, practice makes perfect. Don't take everyone on this site too literal.

Yes, this is out first movie here at FXhome, and our first try with Alam DV... We will definitive make our next movie much more "professional" than this one.

Cool to hear what you pros thinks anyway biggrin

NB. 2 more versions are comming up (one for 700K streaming and one for 56K streaming).

The movie with the "medium-quality" is working. Will try to change server on the other one!

Ok, so here it goes. I like your titles (credits, whatever biggrin ), projectile effects were nice too - well done here, as well as teleportation. Music was funny, original - that's for sure.

Choreography was horrible biggrin But then again - it was so horrible that it became funny, don't know if it was your aim (almost same thing with acting). Lightsaber effects were IMO worst thing in your movie cool The amount of glow was different in different shots, and sometimes faaaaaaaaar to big. Took all the 'magic' away unfortunately. Didn't like the clashes either. Furthermore - there was no lightsaber masking, so in some shots lightsaber glows from behind something (example - head). The effect of "dust" shaken off the cloths is bad too, you could try at least adding some transparency or something. Looks unreal.

I liked the idea for opening of the movie, but it was a bit too long IMO. And camera was TOO unstable - I know that some unstability was in place, but that was definetely too much - looked weird. But I like the idea smile

All in all I didn't really liked this movie, but I surely understand that nobody would create a masterpiece at first try. I would expect more from your 4th movie though. So keep improving and having fun - that's important wink Starting is always hardest.

P.S.
I agree with mavic19 - when someone watches the movie he should leave feedback. All filmmakers crave feedback wink And me too razz

P.S.2
Lol, when I exceeded my bandwith limit, it just showed me something like: bandwith left: -2 GB, and so on biggrin Lucky me wink

Oh, one more thing - voting your movie 5 (especially movie that do not deserve it) sucks unsure Well, I know that you DO have right to do it, but impression isn't really nice I must say.

Just an observation.
