You can get to the top of the castle in something like 2 minutes if you know how smile There was a corner between the castle and the hills you could flip wall jump off and get onto the top. smile

Oh when I used to play that game I thought I'd be the pimp if I could do that, and I tried for hours on end, but never succeeded sad

Nicely edited between the levels and stars. Good moments of black that aren't actually that long in the game on the 64. smile

WTF! HOLY MOALY ! FRIGGEN HELL!

Some gamers are truly amazing. But if you know all the weaknesses in a game, e.g putting the rabbit in front, so that the door will open, or jumoing backwards so that one can get up the stairs, then its easier. STILL one needs alot of skillz to complete those levels soo fast.

Respect to da man.

Cheers,

That was pretty much a really insane video. The glitches were kinda funny. And the bowser levels were definitely insane.

I love this game. Recently decided to play it all over again and got 120 stars. Fun times smile .

It's one of the best games ever and was the first full 3D adventure platformer. I remember the first time I played it on launch day, the 3D control stick was absolutely revolutionary. Good ol' Mario.

Wonder what they'll do with the next one. biggrin

I tried to do some of the trix...I got up to the "neverending" stairs...dunno how he did that backwards jumping thing in order to get up.

But I am on 28min now. Not bad for my first try.

Goldeneye is still one of the best games ever (in my memory), if not THE best.

I still own my N64 for two reasons. One, Super Mario 64, and 2, Goldenye. AN may i add, is the best party game ever. lol, ask justin, ^^^^. I spend hours with him playing goldeneye while drinking generic brand mountain dew. lol. But it does suck how he used glitches. REAL gamers dont useglitches, well they do, but not to show off.

Goldeneye is one of the best games made by Rare, and Rare is a kickass team. I'm enjoying Conker very much, both on my n64 and xbox biggrin

That video was incredible. He really planned it out and is quite good at platformers judging by the way he was jumping around the levels.

The N64 is my favorite sytem hands down.

All you have to do is input the cheat code and you can beat the game in like 10 minutes like me wink I think my best time on the 2nd bunker level with cheats is like 57 seconds.

I have my n64. Along with an Atari 2600, SNES, Genesis, 32x, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, and Gamecube. I realized that the oldies are in some ways actually better than the new ones! stun What? Graphics aren't the most important part of gameplay? To me, that's one of the stupidest ways of thinking ever. People need to appreciate the oldies

I agree....GOLDENEYE ROCKS...luckily I still have my N64. Its just a legend, and has some of the best games ever made up-till date. Mario 64 rules, cause its fun, and Goldeneye was the first "ego-shooter" I knew of, and a real cool game (as said before) to play on partys.
Another classic is "tony hawks pro skater". That rules on N64 !

The cheat code you press on the buttons is how I cleared the game, but it's cheap... My brother did the whole game, in agent, secret agent and 00 agent, without using cheats.

And he even unlocked all the cheats!

Wow, that video was awexome! biggrin

Has anyone seen the original SMB Time Attack Video? A guy goes through the entire game in 11 minutes. However, I remember hearing that it was done on an emulator with screen capture in which he cut out all his "unsuccessful" footage. I guess that's to be somewhat expected with these videos though. Maybe.

I also agree with you guys -- old school games were the best! I still play StarFox 64 a lot on my N64. Are there any veteran StarFox 64 players out there? (I consider myself just an above average player) If so, what's your best score? Mine is "only" 1104, but I know there are some people out there that can get about twice that.

GoldenEye was the best shooter game ever! Ah, such fun, good times. smile

Awesome. I was actually really disspointed with StarFox Adventures for GameCube. It turned into the typical run-around-collecting-stuff type game. Not that there's anything wrong with that kind of game, but for StarFox, it just didn't fit... I didn't even like the way he looked. Ah well.

I did read that StarFox Assault did have a lot more flying in it, but I had read in a review (before actually buying it this time) that the good parts are not enough to weigh over the bad parts... But if you say it's awesome, I might just have to go and rent it... biggrin

I think/wish any more StarFox games should be just like StarFox 64 though. Maybe they'll port it to GameCube one day like they did Zelda: OOT.

When the Revolution comes out, if you do get it, you could download Starfox 64 for free. (At least they're saying free now. They keep changing their minds) So, I doubt they'll port it to GC.

Star Fox Assualt is a piece of crap in my honest opinion. Rent it, you'll enjoy it for a week and that's it. Took me 2 days to beat. Fun while it lasted, mediocre multiplayer, and just a renter. Nintendo NEVER said games would be free on Revolution, they haven't changed their minds once. Not even NES games will be free. They said it would cost a little bit of money to download on Rev, except for special offers and occasions, and maybe marketing things like Pepsi-iTunes. They will never port Star Fox 64 to the GCN, wait 'til Rev. or get an old N64. There is not much time left on GCN, and there is no reason to port it, OoT was rated #1 of all time at some places, and they used that offer t market the WW pre-order. I used to be a hard-core Star Fox 64 player back in the day. I still play it every now and then, abut I have no idea what my high score is. The 11 minute speed run was not edited at all. But it was still dumb because he used an emulator and put it in fast forward. It was going so fast he jumped accross the levels and it was glitched the whole time.

Ooooops........ I thought..... what about this? I'm not trying to prove you wrong, but is this reliable? One part says.....

"People sort of picked on us for not prematurely jumping into online or internet gaming," he mused, going on to point out that now the company has more to offer besides online gaming. Harrison then confirmed that past-gen, Nintendo-created titles will indeed be downloadable for free. "

Not really. unsure There are no places where you can easily cut. And why would you lie? That would be kind of low. So it wouldn't be "done easily" because you didn't do it.

EDIT: Thanks for evening it out whoever, but that was a bit of a random -1

And, those glitches and his speed thru the levels is real. Those tricks can't be done with editing.
