WARNING This movie contains scenes which might offend some viewers. This movie is not suitable for children. Its pretty gross in places, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

This is a clip we made for a short TV appearance (kind of commercional for our new project).

It contains the most exciting sequences of almost every movie we made for the last two years. Lot of SpecialEffects, 3D and Stuntwork.

NCC is the poo when it comes to film making. This must be a cool clip to go back and watch to see all of the awesome things you've done. I especially liked the foot squashing the head biggrin Do you do all the 3D work? If so, do you create the meshes? There are some pretty stunning visuals here.

Thanks Flip! You're actually the first to comment on this one... :)
Yeah, it was real fun editing this short "look what we did yet".

I do most of our 3D Work myself, yes. As in this movie I modelled the logo-animation. Than the short outtake of a never finished 3D movie (a guy shooting another one) is also done by me. I modelled and textured characters and background.
The ship you see is an outtake from Turicon. I actually didn't model the whole ship but used a "Viper" model, remodelled and retextured it.
Then the robot kneeling to the dead body was done by myself, modelling and texturing, as the big ship flying over the city.
Than theres a shot with a object done by someone else, it's a ship from "Alien". I just took this one because of time problems while making Turicon.
But I did all the backgrounds and objects from ROSE myself as the burning airplane from WildDanger.

Cool movie/trailer. The 3D titles were really nice. Some of the bluescreening was sorta easy to tell, and in one scene it had the black bars but the video format was already in widescreen. That was wierd.

I really like how the sound effects actually flowed with the effects!! Half the cinema movies i watch have sound effects that are misplaced or just go together well. 4.5 star movie!

Thanks!

Uhm... What Bluescreening do you mean? There's actually one single keyshot in the clip and that was whitescreen... :)

Yeah with the bars... I know... It's because we use different formats in our movies (therefore with bars of different sizes). That's why you actually see some of them.

Well, I mist say, I can't comment any other than: "extrodinary"!! biggrin I voted 5Stars!

The visuals are really great, but other than just the visuals and the story, I'll have to say that it takes quite some commitment to make such a movie over a long period like that! And that is the greatest about NoControl, you can watch and enjoy how they like what they do, and are comitted to their work!

I have a site comming up soon, and I can have your link written all over it!(With permission of course!)

NightCast will be out in late 2006 as far as I can tell... It's too early to say anything specific though.

Jeez!!! I'm a freshman right now, and that won't be until I'm a senior!

But the best movies take time...

NightCast will be for the big screen, therefore needs a lot more time then a movie just done for ourselves.

Hopefully you won't have to fly anywhere Waser. If the plan succeeds, the film should come to you. wink

awesome stuff. i would say that a few of your lasers looked a little cartoonish, but really impressive shots all around.

The BSG Vipers looked like 2d objects, but most of it was really good.
