okay i want to get chrominator now and i have one question to ask. In my wedding videos i wanted for example to make a wedding video and place it in another video of time square i want to position the wedding video into the times square tv in new york. like this people see a video of times sqaure u know moving cars etc and then they see a wedding intro in the times sqaure tv. i hope this all makes sense. what i wanted to know is is that easy on chrominator or do i have to position every frame like i do on afx? please let me know thankx

Yes, Chromanator can do this. Chromanator has very good 2D animation support. So you can position the wedding video track so that it appears like it's showing on the big screen TV, and then, if necessary, animate the quad by using keyframes. You could start off by positioning the wedding video on every 10th frame (which creates a keyframe on every 10th frame), and then see how it looks on all the frames in-between.

If the result isn't quite right, then you can keep on adding more keyframes as required. The worst case scenario is that you'll have to adjust the quad on each frame, though this is unlikely. It would depend on how jerky the footage is of the big screen TV.

Have you downloaded and tried out the demo?

Do you have Quicktime 7? If so, downgrade to 6.5. See here.
