My parents were at a neighbor's party, and they met an Emmy Award Winning director. Apparently he knew about FXHome. I don't have any more info, but I am working with him this summer, so I'll fill you in as I get more info. Pretty cool though. That is literally all I found out. unsure

WOW! You should get him to help you with you're next movie, if that isn't already what you went be, "working with him". Anyway, very cool. razz

I will be assisting him in a TV show. I don't think he has time for non-paying, teen independent short films. Not much he could help me with anyways. I am not saying I am awesome, but what would he do? Anyways, Tarn, I'll try and get his name, next time I talk to the neighbors. He left right when my [parents were telling me, so I had no time for questioning, my parents obviously had no idea how big a deal this was. They kind of said that part casually.

A note about meeting a tv professional: ALWAYS FOLLOW UP ON IT!
A little story: When I was in the US Navy, I met a guy at the church my brother was pastoring named Pat Kennedy (the guy, not the church). He was, at the time, a professional film editor (he edited "Mr. Mom" the "Space" mini-series (based on the James Michener novel), and some other tv movies and theatrical films. He seemed impressed about my movie trivia and told me to look him up when I got out of the service, and he would get me a job as an apprentice editor. Well, circumstances being what they were at the time, I didn't follow up on looking him up, and I have been kicking myself in the butt ever since!

I got more information, but it is limited. His name is Chris/Christopher James and I am sending him an e-mail this week. He was curious about the software I was using, and I told him about EffectsLab and Chromy. Tarn, if there is something you want me to say specifically, just let me know. He is a nice guy though, I can't wait to meet him. He was very concrned about me losing my HD, and he was asking about it to see if his co-workers could help out. Again, I'll update you as this goes on.
