I'm having a problem. There seemed to be several issuses with chromanator, unexpected freezing and crashes during rendering also I couldn't drag or select the end frame of an object without an error text being created and the message "Macromedia projector has encountered a problem and has to close". again promting crashing

I thought maybe I was due for a reformat of my hard drive and reinstallation of windows and maybe this would settle theses issuses, but alas no.
Does this sound familiar to any folk out there. support@fxhome doesn't seem to exist in my galaxy and all other addresses given for help led to an empty page. for instance what is a Macromedia Projector and how does one sweeten it up so it plays on my team?

I'm hoping in the mean time for a seasoned chromanator user to whom similar things have happened can illuminate for me the way forward.

When you re-installed Windows, did you also install the latest versions of Quicktime and DirectX?

At one stage there was an issue with Quicktime 7 but Apple have now fixed it. So you can install Quicktime 7 and DirectX 9.0c.

If that doesn't help, perhaps you can give the FXhome guys some more information about your computer and what project you're working on.

E.g. Operating system, service pack, video card, whether PAL/NTSC footage, what you're rendering as (Quicktime MOV, AVI).

Just in case you're not just abbreviating, the correct address is support@fxhome.com.

Thankyou for that, I've swithced to quicktime 6.5.2 but I'm still having problems. It's with imported pal dv footage but i've discovered that if the clips aren't too long i.e. under half a minute, chromanator works fine. So I can still put some shots together. When it works chromanator knocks the spots of the magixs' green box and the old version of zwie stein I was using. so I won't be giving up on it.

Thanks again Hendo you turned out to be the seasoned chromanator operator I was hoping for.

I'm still having problems with any footage over 30 seconds long. I think I'll wait until there is a definitive answer to my problems (as quicktime 7 has only been around a while) if that doesn't work I'll buy a new computer and if that doesn't work I'll etc.. etc..
