So I start up chromanater, I import my movie and start to edit, I go into the object view and do a "saturation" key grade, it works in the object view. I then click to project view, it ask me to render so I click "yes" and then when project view opens up the saturation is gone. I click back to object view, its there, back to project, its gone. What the heck?.... I render it as an .avi, watch it and, the saturation is gone still. I do this again with other tools and none of them work, what do you guys think is going on?

What does the poll have anything to do with the topic? Usually, when you do a poll, it relates to the topic.

Oh. I see.....

Sorry that I can't offer help with your problem, seeing as I don't have Chromy. Try searching around past topics if you haven't done so yet. Also, make sure you have the newest version of the program, by manually uninstalling the old version and reinstalling the new one.

The Key Grade filters (which includes a Saturation filter) only apply to your footage before keying. These Key Grade filters are there to tweak any problematic footage before the key. E.g. if the green or blue is too dark then you can try and lighten it up to get a better key. But these Key Grade filters are not the way to colour grade your movie.

What you want to do is use the Grade filters. Under Grade you'll find a Saturation filter, and this will apply to your whole footage.
