Hi there,

I have just started to play around with chromanator and outputed a clip with a cg background. The finished render is an uncompressed AVI file, but when i play it back its slow and jerky, also the outside edges of the person in front of the greenscreen flicker, different colours dance around and it all looks slightly animated. its only a test im doing but i wondered why its doing this? have i done somthing wrong.

Firstly you're computer won't be able to play back uncompressed AVIs - this is why its jerky. You probably want to convert them to DV so it can play them back smoothly. Also sounds like your project didn't use the right settings so the interlacing isn't being resolved correctly.
