Whenever I try to upload a preset it says
"Error retrieving file info, archive probably corrupt (Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature [code -10])"
Does anyone else have this problem and how can you fix it?

I have no idea, some one on the FXhome team might have to help you. You could email them, the support here is nice and shiny.

Somthing that might help. Re download it. They had a couple issues, and they have a new version.

Version v1.000.935 is the newest, if you already have that one, i have no idea what to do.

The presets are actually zip files (just renamed to have .FXpreset_pack on the end). The error message you're getting is because the system can't find the zip information in the file your sending.

Make sure you are sending the .FXpreset_pack file, and not just the .FXpreset file or anything else. If you still have problems please email the preset to team@fxhome.com and we'll take a look.

Could you possibly elaborate on what you mean by "vanished"? Although I believe I know what you are saying, it can be difficult for me or any one else, to answer you with out knowing exactly what you mean. If you could please give a few more details as to where it vanished from, ETC; I would be happy to try my best at giving you a correct answer.

If I were to speculate as to what you are implying, I would assume that you had put the preset in your EffectsLab preset folder in program files, and then tried to retrieve the file, but it was no longer there. However, you may also be speaking of a preset submission of yours that is no longer there, in which case, I can not help you.

Again, if my first suggestion is the case, the reason being is that once your program fully installs the preset, it can no longer be found in this folder, and is now located in "C:\Documents and Settings\<user account>\My Documents\FXhome\EffectsLab". If your post is concerning a preset submission, the ball is still up in the air, and the head guys will have to get to this.

Details, details, details.
