What is the meaning of "Gross" on video pages? eg

and all other movies, there is a gross rating with a monetary amount.

What does this relate to and mean?

Its a fun way of showing the downloads which relates more to real-world movies.

We count each download as someone buying a virtual $10 ticket to watch the movie. We then count up the downloads to see how much virtual money that movie has made.

Its just a bit of fun, but we might link it in to the force system on the website sometime for movies which reach certain box office standards.

I also hope it'll allow us to see which movies have the highest opening weekend and stuff like that in the future.
