Just make the saber the way you want it to be, and use these settings in the Neon Glow Attributes:

You should get something like this:

Hope it helps

Does this help?

If so, let me know if you are interested. I can make just about any color and make it very realistic looking.

P.S. These all flicker as well! biggrin

Yes that looks good except I changed the core to white like Luke's. Can you make one like Obi-Wan's in EP3?
I tried but it looks kind of purple.

Here's a picture of Obi Wan's Episode 3 lightsaber that I made in Effects Lab.

Please tell me what you think of it.

Wow rmw that looks great can you tell me the settings you used?

shin925 yes you are right. I should have been more specific. I didn't know it looked different in the origonal version. I have it on VHS but I allways watch the DVD special edition widescreen version.
Sucks having to put the dvd in my drive everytime though.

The process of drawing a lightsaber is very clearly explained in the manual. Check the contents for the heading Effects toolsets and the subheading Neon Light I'd give you a page number, but I only have the VisionLab manual at hand. The manual will walk you step-by-step through the process of drawing a lightsaber, though.
