I'm not sure how this would work for a preset, but it would be cool if someone could make matrix code.

The best way to do Matrix-style code is through stock footage, not through presets. Presets just adjust certain attributes for the different effects engines, so I don't know how you would make a convincing looking Matrix code preset....
(Are you using a demo version of EffectsLab? Because you don't have an EL icon in your sidebar and the presets on this site are only available for people who have registered an FXhome product.)

Actually I tried to do this before. I made som simple Matrix Char Textures and used the Particle engine. Maybe I can add some more textures, adjustments etc and upload a preset...
But Stock Footage would probably look better.
EDIT: It seems posible to have one line of code falling, but if you wan't more thatn one it looks like you have to put them there in separate layers...

and scroll down to the buttom of the site and right-click on 'Matrix Raining Code' and "Save Target As..."
