Some weeks ago I talked to schwar about this, and he said that lightning/electricity might be a gadget they'll incorporate into ELab/VLab in the future.

I would like an engine for that... Premiere Pro has one that I have used in movie, but the interface is strange and it's not so easy to manipulate. I bet FXHome can do it better...

Stock footage is fine for me, but it would be nice. Especially for magic type effects where it is conjured (sp) with the fingers (we roto certain points to the fingers.)

Yeah, that would be REALLY GREAT! biggrin I loved the one in Premiere, but the picture was so small. Cool if the FXhome guys could do it, it is a very wanted effect by many...! wink Stockfootage is kind of hard to controll...

Speaking of premiere and effectlabs... what i think would be cool in eLab is batch processing! biggrin

As far as I understand it, it refers to the computer running a, or a series of operating system commands carried out one after the other with out any user interaction or intervention. I believe another meaning that was explained to me, quite some time ago, was that it refers to the storing of "transactions" for an undetermined amount of time before a master file is created, or something to that affect. The first meaning is the most common I hear, which is not too often at that.

Edit: I look forward to the preset, I am sure it will look fine.

I hope that clears it up.
Wizard.

Yeah, in this case I think basically it means that you could work on 3 or 4 different projects in EffectsLab or whatever, then Render them all out in one batch.

You could work on several projects during the day, and then have them all render at night while you slept, for example.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Axeman has the closes! I read it in the manual of premeire (6.0). The manual says something like...save much woork and use batch processing to render over night! (not in quotations cuz like completely off...but that's what it basically mean! and it's kinda close!) as far as one day you can have saved projects over weeks or months and then render them all while your asleep (however it varies on the project size).

I mean it was just a thought. razz
