Oh, and congratulations on the big buy. I'm sure it's well worth the money, and I know if I could afford it, I would definately buy VisionLab HD

Thanks all,

I had to think very hard about the money thing too, but come the new year I decided that I am going to start doing the hobbies I want to get into and that I was NOT going to do it half hearted, so to speak...

...Gulp, now I have the tell the wifey about it all....lol

Since I first posted this, I tried some quick renders using just crappy jpeg photo's and a default dust particle animation...man, the quality of the render was awesome smilesmilesmile

Well worth the grief I may get from wifey ROFL..

cheers

i have been nothing but happy since I bought it. to be honest, as much as I love chromanator, after I bought it, i got the standard "woah.....I just spent a ton of money feeling" and that was only like 90 dollars. I bought visionlab and have not had that feeling once, and have been having a blast with it.

Great, I am glad to hear it. I wish you much success in this new adventure of yours, and I hope you enjoy yourself. This is an excellent place to start out, providing friendly and very helpful tips, or support with nothing but a desire to help each other out, and possibly enhance our own abilities while doing so. Granted this is not always the case, but that is a pretty common standard here at FXhome, and I hope you benefit from it.

With the little bit of patients that it may take to learn the interface, and what the program is capable of, I am sure you will enjoy VisionLab as much as I have already. Once you are comfortable with it, I am certain you will find it quite rewarding. So enjoy the new program, and I would like to extend to you a warm welcome to the community, it has quite a bit to offer if given the time.

Congrats on your purchase, you really made a smart choice. And don't forget to use the FXpreset Library (located under Products>FXpreset Library). Being a Vlab user, you can use any of those presets. Good luck!
