I was just recently forced to update by my old program which will not run. Kudos on the full version, BUT you switched it to quicktime instead of general avi . I need to know how to make them render in just avi, because I use Vegas 5.0, and have already done months of editing with the first version effects lab and vegas.....if I try and finish video work with the full effectslabDV and save as quicktime, I cannot overwrite and access my files.....Long story short the program is unusable. I must havw avi back somehow.

On the render menu, choose "Render Settings" and then change the format to AVI. That should do it.

Please consult the manual in the future for basic questions. The Rendering section in the manual contains full details on settings etc.

Previous versions of the software had the same render options.
