More fieworks would be cool. I am really happy with the one (s) that are already on but i think we need more. I haven't quite got it down yet. But i'm trying to upload a pretty good one that looks weird when your on the timeline but awsome when it's in video. It's not too great but i'd like to see more!

Hi, I know this probably doesn't help much, but I have particleIllusion and I might be able to make some fireworks stock if you want? I can't promise much at the moment as i would need to work on it, but if I can I will smile

I noticed you also have EffectsLab Pro. Why don't you just create the effects in Elab instead of ParticleIllusion, and then you could submit the presets?

Axeman - Well I did think of that and that is also an option, but the reason I thought maybe create it in particleIllusion, is mainly because I am not very good at creating presets for/in EffectsLab Pro, and I am also thinking of creating some CG stock footage e.g. fire, smoke, fireworks etc.. and I just thought it would be helpful smile

Obviously if I have the time to learn the ELab particle generator I will, but also another reason is beacuse I know particleIllusion really well smile

Thanks for the advice tho

Yeah, topcat, you should get to know the particle engine in EL...! Sure you'd come up with something great! biggrin But I'm curious about ParticleIllusion... could you post some pictures of something you've made with it...? Perhaps...? wink

Wow, topcat! biggrin That's some good quality fire there!!! I thought they were real for a couple of seconds...! biggrin But being a EL patriot, I'll stick with EffectsLab...! wink But it looked great! However if one just got the right textures, don't you think one can make something similar to that with EL?

Oeyvind - Well I suppose if I got the right textures and had the time to learn the how to use the particle generator, but unfortunately I haven't really had the time to learn it at the moment, and I think myself personally will take forever to learn it, I know it is a very powerful system, but at the moment I think I will stick with the presets etc... This has nothing to do with me not using the system, as I will hopefully plan to learn the system. But I think for stuff like this and if I needed to create them, I think I would stick with particleIllusion as I have had it for about 2 to 3 years now, so I know what I am doing, but I will eventually learn the EL particle system as it looks great smile

I will see what I can do with particleIllusion and fireworks stock, I am in the process of playing with various emitters and changing settings to get different looks, but I will also need to look into the overall file size, and I will need to look into webspace to upload to.

Yeah, if you've worked with a particular software for years, I know it's difficult to change software. However I remember the first time I saw the particle engine, and I was sure that I'd never learn that. But it's really easy, if you just go ONCE through every slider and option. You'll get the hang of it after a couple of minutes...! wink Well, I'll have to try the ParticleIllusion sometime... Looking forward to you stock footage! biggrin
