|A one minute teaser trailer for our upcoming movie Between the Lines, very short and discreet. Contrast has been altered and slight tweaking in editing from previous submission.|
Hicksy recollects why he signed up for the Army.

I enjoyed the teaser - it did pique my interest and I wanted to see more. Having said that -
Voiceover is a little muddled at the start but that may be audio compression. Shots were fairly dark and that may have been what you were going for. Voice acting is really good.
I wish you nothing but good things with this project and I'm looking forward to seeing the completed film.

Thanks Ferral, and everybody else, im taking any comments you say on board. The screen contrast is way to dark, i need to play with the settings a little, the music is also way to low, and my darn smoke effect is too early. But im gonna rectify this so we get a better teaser on the website. Please if you vote give me feedback, i need to correct my mistakes here, otherwise im just going to repeat them. Another teaser coming in two weeks, should be interesting as it involves a bit of green screen treatment.

Really good teaser! I loved the way you choosed to present this film. It looks like a very good movie and not like just another film made to test out the FXhome products... I like war-movies that focus on what the soldiers experience. Short, but effective! Great job! 4/5

If the brightness problem can be fixed, this will be a great little teaser. Also properly understands the concept of 'teaser', and how it should be different from a trailer.
This is definitely one of the most interesting projects at FXhome.com at the moment - can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Very good Job!
Any historic one like this ends up in my Top Ten! Your #2. The first one is The Last Days.
I love Historical movies like this. I was thinking about a vietnam movie but I am going with World War II movie. It is like the old movie "To Hell and Back" ,except in a french countryside.
Try to work on the lighting on some of your shots but the darkness of a few your shots sometimes set a really cool mood for a war movie. It really fit on some shots.
Good Preview! 4/5

It's a teaser for the full movie, so different from a trailer, the teaser slightly dives into one of the character's thoughts of how he feels about the situation he is in, it also showcases a mood and feel of what the audience can expect to see from the full movie, while also what level of quality the costumes and grading. It's a very low budget home movie, with funding from a charity for a local museum in my home town.

I liked this quite alot. Very personal, and intruiging the way the teaser follows a single soldier. The editing was so-so, but the depth of the opening shots makes up for most of it. Teasers generally go up to 4/5. This would be a sure 4, but as an editor before cinematographer, I tend to rate more harshly based on editing. The editing was so-so, so I'm going 3/5.
