Can any one make a bullet hitting metal kind of preset. I know there are plug ins but just wondering if anyone can or has made one.

I've tried this one, just so you know. Haven't found a good way to do it yet. I tried a variety of ways, including a zoom blur to stretch the particles and a Gleam composite, but didn't get anything I was satisfied with. Really the motion blur effect these type of sparks cause needs to be done in the textures, and since they shoot off every which way, you can't do it in the textures currently.

If anyone else finds a good way to do it, sweet, but I'm kinda stuck atm, until I find a new and innovative approach.

Well, I came up with a way to do this, and have submitted three veriations as presets. I used the muzzle flash engine to create them, and they came out pretty well, I think.
