Hey all, This is a oooold school video we found on one of the HD's that I thought would be good for a laugh. Have fun...

(Shot in on halloween night, it was supposed to be a literall interpretation of the video game, thus, movement)

3 minutes, avc.

Hehe, this is pretty coool. I like the creepy feeling, the mood is indeed closer to the game then the movies ever were.

I like it! Nice work. cool

Just wondering, how did you get the gun slide to go back and forth while firing the gun?

this is definitely one to watch, I'm a huge fan of the res evil series, hence why i hate Paul Anderson so much, but I'm gong to be following this one very closely. Brilliantly shot too, nice grading and feel, great homage to the games, even the quirky parts work well, i wait with abaited breath

There are certain guns that have the replica effect.

Nice short Bryce. Really enjoyed it ^^. Loved the way you mocked computer games, i.e the guy running against the wall, etc..etc...nicely done biggrin
I just thought the effect at the end was poorly done. With the zombie being knocked over by a truck or something, couldnt quite make out, what exactly that was supposed to be.

other than that...brilliant !

cheers,
d.

Glad you guys liked it. Yeah, that gun was an Electric blowback airsoft pistol. The End part with the truck is hilariously bad, but This is so old, re-doing it would be pointless. Did any of you catch the taped on "RPD" logo starting to peel when he pistol whips the zombie? Genius eh? biggrin

Very nice bryce. Great short, I wish there was more to it! I really enjoy your quick cuts in your action sequences, they are unique and you have great style.

Hey! glad you all liked the film. This is Bryce 007's editor. I essentially starred in, and editted this. I was deleting stuff off my hard drive, when I came across this, so I thought I'd see what others thought of our attempt at some lighter entertainment. This was a blast to make, and was for pure fun. didn't think it would turn out at all, but it did. I used Poser for the zombie, but I made my own gory texture, and used Particle Illusion for the blood, and muzzle blasts. The semi looked like pure crap, but that made it great to laugh at the bad CG. Glad you all dug it.

Metal Gear would be an interesting endeavor, But I'm guessing Uwe boll will beat us to the punch, so its not worth it in the end...

Ahhh the memories! I bought my ps1 in order to play RE.

Really good cinematography. The lighting was very cool too. Did you light the scenes or just use what was there. Kudos on a cool short.

Actually, snake is about 20 times cooler than sam fisher. Plus, He's got an extremely Phallic Sounding name, Which makes him 90 times manlier.

Haha. Or maybe a Still shot of Snake holding Sam's TriGoggles longingly looking off into the distance...that would sell tickets...

But yeah, Anyone else watch this?

Very nice piece guys. Just a few questions; What camera was this shot on? What compression settings did you use? What was the song used in the begining of the film?

It was shot on my Vx2100 When I didn't know how to use it properly. I used the "Med-prog" AVC setting in sorenson squeeze. The song used at the beginning of the film is off the Resident Evil 2 soundtrack. (Game, not movie)
