Me and my buddies made a video and edited some of it on Windows Media Player. We saved it as a movie file, but can't load it onto the FX EffectsLab DV. Is it possible to change the format of the movie file or possibly load it on there. I am a real noob and need some help. Please don't be to brutal.....haha....

yeah, when you click "Save to My Computer" in WMM, click something that says "more options" or "Advanced options" Or somthing like that. There should be a drop down menu were you can select .AVI.

This will make a much larger size (in mbs) movie file, so make sure you have the hard drive space if your editing large numbers of files.

When you say you saved it 'as a movie file', what do you mean exactly? What type of movie file? The most common formats used in editing (and supported in our products) are .avi and .mov.

I have the same problem. It will only let me save it as one type of file.
