if u can be bothered to wait 5 mins to watch this it would be good to hear your thoughts.
It was a bit of a test really, a kind of extended trailer styled test of lots of differant stuff.
You may think its uber, you may think is cack! It may help you with shots or ideas, who knows!
contains martial arts, cars, guns and an explosion (my least fav bit),
Godfather liked it!http://s52.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=39S0ON38KXDKP2Y75ST2NT5KM3

Wow thats really great. I loved the sequencing. The effect errrr could have used alittle work to make it look profestional. Its odd i see all these great editors and directors that can seqence anything but as so as they add an effect it looks amurture or like they need more work effect editng. BUT i still i liked it.

Yea i agree totaly about the explosion...i take it thats what you were talkin about as opposed to the muzzle flashes?
Was my first attempt at a boom, and as posted wasn't very pleased with it! Should been slower, more detailed etc.
Glad you liked the rest of it though!

Yea mainly the Explotion but i think that some of the muzzle flashes could have blended in more. The Uzi Muzzle flash looked a little to fake and just did look as if it fit its surroundings but as i said before i really did like it.

I like all of it. I think the explosion could have used a little more work on it. Great Work!

It won't finish downloading. It downloads only 5 seconds of the video clip. Anyone else run into that problem?

I count that as three consecutive posts. Ridiculous. I've only just finished replying to your double posting elsewhere and now I find this. Filling the threads with one sentence posts is a waste of time as it serves only to clutter the threads and annoy readers thus making it less likely for people to reply.
I've already warned you in two seperate threads, this is the third time I am warning you. No more consecutive posts, if you want to add extra questions into a single post then make use of the "EDIT" button on the top right of each post rather than post an entirely new post.
In the case of your continueing to double/triple post both myself and other moderators will have to take action against you - This is not something we want to do, however - if deleting/locking every thread you create then spam is necessary for the message to be hit home then that'll have to be the case.
Now, apply some common sense to your posting and we'll all be happy.

Thanks for the plus comments re the sequencing, it can be difficult to get right i think. I think keeping it fast and sharp works for that kind of trailer / video.
Very much appreciated! Also, i am working on a short we filmed in the sinai desert in september last year! Am really looking forward to getting it on here for you guys to look at!
Thanks for both the possitive and helpful points!
Godfather, the track is by Arch Enemy and is either called Enter the Machine or Doomsday Machine. The file names say differant things!
Wildstorm , sorry if there was a prob, have re posted it here for you.http://s55.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3A5EEOWAAI3YN0WZNZ07IA4THO

I really liked it, I thought the fighting was amazing! Really stunning tricks and stunts you had there...!
Highly cool! Allthough the effects could perhaps use some improvements... For the explosion I think I'd rather use another explosion, a bigger one that moves slower - giving it a bigger look and feel. And the muzzleflashes could use some textures, but part from that they were actually pretty good! Awsome job guys!

Cool training camp! I particular liked the first shots with the sunset and all. Looks very fun too. Are you doing like kickboxing or JuJitsu or what..? (Used to do JuJitsu myself) Also looks as you've got skills with swords - you should give a go at a lightsabre-duell once... definitly!
Keep up the great work, man!

Thanks for your comments! My fave part is of course the martial arts and the car, and am least proud of the effects, but it was a great chance to test them and my abilities (or lack their of). I totally agree with your comments on the effects, the uzi was ok but could of been better
The Training Camp is a regular thing and its awesome, that first part is at sunrise, during a Chi Gung session. Its a lot of fun! I do Kickboxing, Kung fu, Capoeira and a little bit of Wu Shu, which im learning sporadically when i can.
RE the swords, yea i do use a lot of weapons, and it just so happens that we have filmed and intense sabre fight that im still doing my very best to try and effect! Which is takin ages as, as we have discussed, its not my best skill! When it is finished, i will be sure to post it on here!
Thanks very much for your great and positive feedback!

while it looked cool, it looked a bit over done, almost as if the actors knew when the punches were going to hit them. This was probably the most apparent when a kick was being thrown. Most of the time it looked really nice. I'm pretty much used to doing coreography for fist fights, not really stuff like this, and Im sure its difficult not to make a slight movment before the punch is thrown.
It also looked like they needed to be thown closer to the person they were being aimed at. A few times it was obvious nothing was being hit. Nice job though guys,

That was pretty cool, especially the fighting and the car chase, but (like you said) the explosion wasn't the best. Great otherwise though! I agree that the muzzle flashes should be cleaned up too.
