Hey,

Just wondering, is it at all possible to transfer a copy of an FXHome product I've bought to another user?

Thanks for our help,

The license you purchase is for YOU, and YOU alone. Anyone can download the program, but the purchase lies in the license of it.

Right. What I'm wondering however, is whether it is at all possible to transfer that licence to somebody else?

Well, it might be posible. I guess you'd have to e-mail them the details and ask.

I emailed them yesterday at support@fxhome.com and haven't received a reply yet. Do you think I should email them again at team@fxhome.com? unsure

Yeah, they usually do. Maybe they have much to do/read at the moment...

The license is non-transferable. The following quotes are copied directly from the license agrement.

Licence Agreement wrote:

3.2 You may not copy (other than once for back-up purposes), transfer, rent, distribute, lease or sub-licence all or any portion of the Software.

3.5 You may not resell, transfer, export or re-export the Software or any technical data derived from the Software.

Just to confirm, what Axeman says is correct. It is pretty standard for licenced software to be untransferable. If it wasn't then people could keep transfering it to each other and we'd get no sales, which would put us out of business pretty quick.

Sorry you haven't received a email reply yet. But please remember we only work on weekdays, so if you send a mail on Sunday we won't see it till Monday morning. Also support@fxhome.com and team@fxhome.com both go to the same place.
