CompositeLab and EffectsLab project compatibility [ANSWER]

I'll be buying CompositeLab soon and I was wondering if instead of rendering out your movies in one and opening it in the other you can just open your saved project in the other?

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying, but I think you'd need VisionLab to do what you're talking about.

What I'm ytrying to say is can you greenscreen and composite something in compositelab save the project and then open the same project in effectslab?

No, CompositeLab and EffectsLab are independent programs and don't contain each other's functionality. So you cannot open a CLab project file in ELab and then render it.

If you want to use CLab and ELab functionality in the same project, and only have to render once, then as NickD says, VisionLab is the way to go.
